While playtesting, we invented a sports game. And it somehow became central to the plot. Which means the actual game needs to be a thing.

To that end, we have created MagDisc, a sports game. It is played over several months, double elimination tournament style. There are 12 teams in the official league, sponsored by different sections of the station.

A game consists of two five round halves. Teams can select from a variety of plays which are decided via athletics rolls. Players suffer fatigue as the game continues. Each team has five active players with four alternates that can be substituted in.

MagDisc will be included as part of the core ruleset. We may also release the MagDisc ruleset separately with full team rosters and tournament information.
